Woodridge Park District Moves Forward with Athletic Recreation Center

The park district board accepted the results of a final feasibility study that was presented at the board's Tuesday meeting.
According to the study, "the proposed facility can operate in a self-sufficient and profitable manner exclusive of debt service without any reliance on any subsidies from other existing park district funds," according to a park district release.

The park district board authorized staff to proceed with the next step in the process: assessing site location options. That includes soliciting "a proposal for the board to provide preliminary architectural/engineering consulting services to prepare conceptual site master plans, conceptual facility floor plan layouts and refine costs specific to identified location options."
