Woodridge Rotary Mini Triathlon Sponsors Announced for 2016

Pulte Homes, developer of a still-evolving subdivision of 149 single-family homes in Woodridge called Timbers Edge, has committed for the second year in a row to being a $2,500 Gold Sponsor for this year’s Woodridge Rotary Mini Triathlon, according to Rotary Club sponsorship co-chairs John Perry and Magin (Mike) Martinez. The 17th Annual Mini Tri event will be held Sunday, August 14, 2016.

Silver Sponsors contribute $1500 to the event. This year’s sponsors at that level include longtime sponsors and Woodridge businesses Bridgeview Bank, Dr. Rob Girgis, Home Run Inn Pizza and Wilton Brands. Another returning sponsor at the $1000 level includes Illinois American Water.

“Sponsorships reflect the commitment that these firms have to Woodridge,” said Martinez. “They increase the proceeds from the mini triathlon, all of which are donated back to the community. It is a win-win for all in terms of being able to help meet needs. Not to mention, the mini tri has become a popular and fun community event.”
