$500K Lottery Ticket Sold in Kendall County

The winning ticket was for Sunday's Lucky Day Lotto drawing.

YORKVILLE, IL — If you bought a Lucky Day Lotto ticket in Yorkville recently, you may want to check it right away! A Yorkville store sold a $500,000 winning ticket for Sunday’s Lucky Day Lotto drawing, according to a release from the Illinois Lottery.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at Circle K, located at 1421 North Bridge Street, and matched all five numbers – 10 - 19 - 25 - 26 - 28 – to win $500,000 in the Jan. 31, midday drawing. The retailer will receive a bonus of $5,000, or 1 percent of the prize amount, for selling a winning ticket.

The Illinois Lottery urges the lucky winner to immediately sign the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe place until they visit one of the Lottery’s five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights. Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.
