The Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce announced the 80’s rock tribute band, EPIC, will be the headline musical act at their 5th Annual River Night, which will be held on Friday, June 24. A precautionary rain date has been scheduled for June 25.
Epic was formed in 2004 in the south suburbs of Chicagoland. They are a cover band that plays music from popular 80's rock groups. Their set includes familiar songs from Bon Jovi, Journey, Poison, REO, Van Halen, Bryan Adams and more.

River Night is celebration filled with music, food, and fun for the whole family. The evening is organized by the Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the United City of Yorkville and the Yorkville Parks and Recreation.
The festivities will take place from 5:30 to 10pm at Yorkville’s on East Hydraulic Street along the newly completed whitewater course on the Fox River. Admission to the festival is free and open to the public.

Highlights include a beer and wine tent for those 21 and over (soft drinks also available), food from and WSPY-FM 107.1 will be doing a live remote broadcast. New to this year’s event will be an expanded family area with activities for children.
