Boyfriend Punched by Girlfriend After Asking to Spend the Night: Police

YORKVILLE, IL — A man who wanted to spend the night with his girlfriend was left with his face and ego bruised after she punched him in the face.

Police said the man, who had been consuming alcohol earlier in the evening with his girlfriend, asked to spend the night. He was told no. When he continued to talk to her, she allegedly punched him in the face, causing his lip to bleed.

Police were called to the home at around 2 a.m. Dec. 9.

Alexis T. Reese, 22, of the 200 block of Oakwood Street, was charged with domestic battery in the incident. She was taken to the Kendall County Correctional Facility.
