On a Friday afternoon, one of my favorite things to do is grab a few friends and head out to for a TGIF celebration. Located at 185 Marketview Drive, right off of Rte 47 on Yorkville’s north side, Rosati’s manages to create an enviable atmosphere- a place where adults can enjoy a pizza and a beer, while also being family friendly. A sense of humor is obviously a hiring prerequisite, as everyone from owner TJ to each and every server I’ve ever encountered are just downright entertaining and adds to the fun atmosphere.
Rosati’s previous location was further south on Bridge Street, and their move allowed them to expand both their seating and their menu. Not only can you find outstanding pizza, but also sandwiches, salads, appetizers, wings, and pasta. They also have a full bar with draft and bottled beer in addition to mixed drinks.
But let’s talk about the pizza. Available by the slice for lunch between 11:00 to 3:00, you can have a basic slice of cheese, or cheese and sausage, or one of their specialties. With daily options like “Meat Mania” (sausage, ground beef, pepperoni, and bacon); Uncle Fred’s Favorite (onion, Italian beef, jalapenos, and bacon); or Ranchero (ranch dressing, fresh garlic, bacon, and chicken) this is not your ordinary pizza lunch. And the bill for that lunch of a large slice of pizza and a large soda? Less than $5.00!

For those weekends when watching Sunday football at home just won’t do, Rosati’s has several TV’s in the bar area that let you follow every move of Da Bears. And whether you like an old stand-by like sausage and mushroom pizza, or a gourmet pizza like Chicken Alfredo or Buffalo Chicken pizza served with domestic draft, a micro-brew from Two Brothers, or one of their martinis, there is enough options to keep everyone in your group happy regardless of the final score.
Rosati’s offers gift cards, catering, and delivery in the Yorkville area. Yum!
