Carol Jean Hinterlong, 75, was Born on Christmas Day, Passed on Easter Sunday

Carol Jean Hinterlong, age 75 of Yorkville, IL passed away on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013 at her home. She was born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1937 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Joseph A. and Cora F. (Schumacher) Pachter.

Carol was united in marriage on October 1, 1960 in Downers Grove, IL to Roger M. Hinterlong, Sr. and they spent the next 52 happy years together. Mrs. Hinterlong was formerly employed for 15 years in the Accounting Dept. of the Dial Corporation in Montgomery, IL until her retirement in 1992. Carol was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Carol is survived by her husband Roger M. Hinterlong, Sr.  of Yorkville, IL; her children, Roger M. (Wendy) Hinterlong, Jr. of Peoria, AZ and Pamela J. (Steven) Rissman of Yorkville, IL; her grandchildren, Andrea, Alicia and Austin Hinterlong, Cory and Stephanie Rissman; her brothers, Richard (Diane) Pachter of Yorkville, IL, and Roger “Bill” (Kathy) Pachter of Seneca, IL; her sister, Viola (Richard) Fleischman of VA; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Cora Pachter; and two brothers, Ronald and Robert Pachter.

Friends may visit from 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Monday, April 8, 2013 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 410 East Countryside Parkway in Yorkville, IL.
