Convicted Sex Offender Failed to Register as One: Police

The 27-year-old Montgomery man was arrested at his home.

A 27-year-old convicted sex offender was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly failed to register as one.

Caleb Braden Ray, of the 100 block of Longbeach Rd. in Montgomery, was arrested at his home on a failure to register as a sex offender warrant, according to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office.

Ray’s original charge was two counts of aggravated child pornography, according to the Illinois Sex Offender Registry. He was 22 years old at the time of the offense and his victim was 6.

His bail was set at 10 percent of $15,000.
