Dr. Henry A. Januszka, 81, Enjoyed Hunting and Fishing, Spending Vacations with Family

Dr. Henry A. Januszka, age 81, of Newport Beach, CA passed away on Monday, April 15, 2013 at Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion in Sandwich, IL after an extended illness. He was born on June 11, 1931 in Jackson, MI the son of Stanley and Angela (Kielar) Januszka. 

Dr. Januszka was a 1953 graduate of the University of Michigan's College of Pharmacy and a 1958 graduate of its Medical School.  He spent 46 years practicing medicine and many of those years in his own family practice in Long Beach, CA.

Dr. Januszka was an avid fan of the University of Michigan Football Team. He enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing with his close friends and many weekend outings and vacations with his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Januszka of Newport Beach, CA; his son, Mark (Dawn) Januszka of Long Beach, CA; his daughter, Dr. Angela (Dr. Kevin) Egly of Oswego, IL; his grandchildren, Heather, Joshua, and Ashley Januszka,(Ruth Wardrip Januszka), Nathan, Nicholas, and Rio Torres, Adam, Matthew, Christopher, and Grace Egly; one great grandson, Noah Januszka; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Angela Januszka; and his brother, Stanley Francis Januszka.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, April 19, 2013 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 410 E. Countryside Pkwy., Yorkville, IL. Entombment will take place at a later date in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Cypress, CA.

Friends may visit from 5:00 until the Hour of Service on Friday, April 19, 2013 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL.
