DUI, Residential Burglary: Yorkville Blotter

March 25

Paul Montiel, 32, of the 200 block of Bertram Drive, was charged with criminal damage to property. Police say Montiel broke the front door of a residence.

March 26

Ronald Paugels, 32, of the 6000 block of Minkler Rd., was charged with driving under the influence and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. The incident occurred in the 500 block of Route 47.

A woman reported that she noticed her front door was ajar when she came home. The woman said she was positive that both the deadbolt lock and the door knob was secure before she left. The incident occurred in the 300 block of Mulhern Ct.

March 27

John J. Moga, 46, of the 800 block of Pontiac Ct in Aurora, was charged with driving under the influence. The incident occurred in the 600 block of E. Veterans Parkway.

March 29

Police are investing a residential burglary where someone entered a residence in the 100 block of Colonial Parkway through an unlocked door and stole a cellphone while the resident was sleeping on the couch. No other items were taken and no suspect information is available.
