DUI, Retail Theft, Domestic Battery: Yorkville Blotter

Incidents occurred between March 11 and March 15.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.


March 11

Drew Anderson, 27, of the 300 block of E. Kendall Dr. in Yorkville, was charged with criminal trespass to a residence. The incident occurred in the 200 block of Kendall Dr.

Police took a report of an iPhone 5s that was stolen from a gym bag in a locker room.

March 12

Goodwill reported a retail theft at its 481 East Countryside Parkway store. Police say a Hispanic male walked out of the store with items loaded in a shopping cart. The man entered a white Ford F150 registered to a person from Aurora. The man was described at being 5’4’’ and 170 pounds. The investigation is ongoing.

March 13

Ryan D. Salazar, 25, of the 300 block of E. Kendall Dr. in Yorkville, was charged with domestic battery. The incident occurred at his home.

Police took a report of a retail theft at Jewel, located at 234 E. Veterans Parkway. Police say the thief walked out of the store with a grocery cart full of items.

March 14

Keith J. Thompson, 42, of the 100 block of Schoolhouse Rd. in Yorkville, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane use. The incident occurred at Rt. 47 and Landmark Ave.

March 15

Daniel Senderak, 56, of the 100 block of Crooked Creek Drive in Yorkville, was charged with driving while license suspended and driving under the influence. The incident occurred at Rt. 47 and Walnut.
