As part of the week long commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the start of the Civil War, the Friends of the Yorkville Public Library are sponsoring a talk by Mr. Dick Popp, Civil War enthusiast, entitled “Creating a Fort Sumter Diorama”. He will explain his research on the topic and, in detail, how he goes about creating an accurate diorama.
The diorama will be on display during the event from April 9 through April 16.
