The Road to Fort Sumter

As part of the week long commemoration of the 150^th anniversary of the start of the Civil War, the Friends of the Yorkville Public Library are sponsoring an appearance of Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln (Mr. and Mrs. Max Daniels) on April 13, at 7:00 p.m.. 

Doors open at 6:45 p.m..  The event is free but a ticket is required and they are available at the library.

Mr. Lincoln’s talk is entitled “Road to Fort Sumter”, wherein he will detail the many factors that led to the attack of the Fort, and the start of the Civil War.
