Former Business Owner Arrested for Fraud

Peter Eupierre, 42, allegedly created a fake bill of sale to obtain a bank loan.

OSWEGO, IL — The former owner of Oswego Motors has been arrested on multiple felonies, including fraud.

Peter Eupierre, 42, of Westmont, had allegedly taken vehicles into the business on consignment, then created a forged bill of sale and used that to get a bank loan.

Police began their case when they took a report for forgery that occurred on or around April 26 at Oswego Motors.

Eupierre has been charged with one count of loan fraud and two counts of forgery. Eupierre’s bail was set at $50,000 with ten percent to apply. He has since posted bond and is awaiting his next court appearance.
