Help Wife of Kendall County Deputy Battle Cancer

Mention the Tongate family when making a purchase at Rosati's of Yorkville Oct. 13 and 20 percent of your cost will be donated.

YORKVILLE, IL — For the past eight years, Stacy Tongate, wife of Kendall County Deputy Zach Tongate, has been battling cancer.

Together, they have a 2-year-old daughter. While the battle hasn’t been easy, they’re getting through it the best they can.

From 11 a.m. to close Thursday, Oct. 13, Rosati’s of Yorkville will donate 20 percent of sales to the family if you bring in the flier below or simply mention the Tongate family. The offer applies to delivery, carry-out or dine-in. Of course, you don’t have to get pizza to have the donation count, but who doesn’t love pizza?

A raffle is also being held from 5 to 9 p.m. the same day. Each raffle ticket costs $100 and includes the chance to win a Bulls Sky Box, which includes a $500 food credit and a party bus in and out. Other raffles will also be held with the winners announced at 9 p.m.

If you can’t do any of that, you can donate directly to them through their GoFundMe page.
