House Reportedly Hit By Bullet: Yorkville Police
Police said witnesses reported they heard what they believed to be "a weapon firing one projectile," according to a news release.

YORKVILLE, IL — A bullet was reported to have hit a house Monday night in the 300 block of Drayton Court in Yorkville, police said.
Officers were dispatched at about 8:18 p.m. for a report of a bullet striking the rear end of the house about 10 minutes prior. Police said witnesses reported they heard what they believed to be "a weapon firing one projectile," according to a news release.
The house was occupied at the time, but police determined no one was injured, officials said. Police do not believe the shooting was targeted.

Detectives collected evidence and spoke to area residents but as of Tuesday morning continue investigating the incident. Police are asking anyone with information or camera footage to contact the department at 630-553-4340.
