Kendall County Food Pantry Officially Changes its Name

The change became official Aug. 11.

The Kendall County Food Pantry has officially changed its name.

The new name became effective Aug. 11 and is now Kendall County Community Food Pantry, Inc. The ownership and responsibility for Food Pantry operations has also been turned over to a new group, according to a news release.

The KCCFP has been established to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the pantry and the continued care for and support of the existing clients who depend on the pantry for so many of their weekly needs.

The Board Chairman for the new KCCFP is Greg Witek, Fire Chief for Little Rock-Fox FPD, CEO of PagePath Technologies and KenCom’s Executive Board Chair.

“Speaking for the new corporation’s directors, we’re honored to be asked-in and now associated with such a dedicated and caring team of volunteers,” Witek said.

In addition to Witek, other members of the new Kendall County Community Food Pantry Board are Dwight Baird, Kendall County Sheriff; Rick Bill, Operations Director of the Kendall County Community Food Pantry; Stan Free, Executive Vice-President, First National Bank; Jackie Kowalski, Millbrook Village President; Fred Kreinbrink, Operations Manager, City of Naperville Electric; Becky Morphy, Board Chair, Fox Valley YMCA; Larry Nelson, CEO of Nelson Multimedia and KenCom Finance Chair; Tandy Pinter, Office Manager, Kendall County Community Food Pantry; Steve Steinwart, President Meadow Dairy; Grant Wegner, Retired Chief Judge and Counsel to Mahoney, Silverman and Cross Law Firm.
