Kendall County Sheriff Releases Results Of Independence Day Safety Campaign
The sheriff's office joined forces with more than 200 other local law enforcement agencies for the high-visibility 4th of July enforcement.
KENDALL COUNTY, IL — The Kendall County Sheriff's Office revealed Thursday that officers issued a total of eight citations during its Fourth of July safety campaign.
The "Click It or Ticket" enforcement ran from June 20 to July 7, encompassing Independence Day. In addition to the tickets, deputies also made two driving under the influence-related arrests, according to a news release.
The Kendall County Sheriff's Office joined forces with more than 200 other local law enforcement agencies for the high-visibility enforcement that included outreach activities and a media campaign.

The enforcement effort was paid for by federal traffic safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
