Knife Pulled in Parking Lot Fight That Hospitalized 1 Man

YORKVILLE, IL — Two Plano men were arrested last week after they got into a fight that left one of them hospitalized.

Kyle Molkentine, of Plano, and Alex Martinez, also of Plano, were both charged with battery and disorderly conduct after they began fighting in the parking lot of a business in the 1200 block of North Bridge Street in Yorkville, according to Yorkville police.

Police say Martinez pulled a knife on Molkentine, who then punched Martinez in the face. The two men then went to the ground and continued to punch each other, according to police.

Martinez was taken to a local hospital for a cut on his finger. Molkentine signed a medical release at the scene and was taken into custody.
