Lawn Watering Restrictions In Effect In Yorkville
Learn more about the city's water conservation ordinance.
YORKVILLE, IL — Seasonal watering restrictions are now in effect in Yorkville. In May through September, lawn watering is only permitted between the hours of 5 and 9 a.m. and/or 9 p.m. and midnight for landscaping watering or the filling of swimming pools.
"In addition, even-numbered addresses may only water on even-numbered calendar days and odd-numbered addresses may only water on odd-numbered calendar days," the city said in a Facebook reminder.
