Man Wanted In Teen Sex Assault Arrested By Marshals: Yorkville PD

A 21-year-old man was charged in connection with an investigation that began in September.

YORKVILLE, IL — An Aurora man was arrested in connection with a sexual assault investigation that began in September. Yorkville police said Alexis B. Wallace, 21, was apprehended Thursday morning by the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force.

Police said they began looking into a reported battery that occurred in September in the 1300 block of Marketplace Drive in Yorkville. Investigators determined that Wallace had an ongoing sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl.

A warrant was issued for Wallace for seven counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault, one count of aggravated domestic battery, one count of aggravated battery and two counts of battery, police said.

Wallace was previously arrested in connection with an Oct. 28 fight at a business in the 2000 block of Orchard Road in Montgomery. Two other men were also charged in connection with that incident.
