Motorcyclist Dies After Crashing Into Tree On Route 126: Yorkville PD

YORKVILLE, IL — A 26-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead Sunday morning after he crashed into a tree on Route 126, according to Yorkville police.

First responders were dispatched to the scene, west of Identa Road, at about 8:51 a.m. A preliminary investigation determined the Yorkville man was driving a 1995 Honda motorcycle east on Route 126 when he veered off the road and hit a tree, officials said.

Police did not identify the man and said the investigation is pending.
