Plenty of Food Planned for Kendall County Fair

See which vendors will be at the fair.

Yorkville, IL — One of the best things about a fair is the food, and the one in Kendall County will have plenty of tasty treats.

Here is a list of vendors at the Kendall County Fair, which runs August 4-7.

McKinley’s offers funnel cakes and more to eat on the go. They have been at the Kendall County Fair since the beginning.

Taco Fiesta provides a spicy taste of another country.

O’Brien’s Too will feature corn dogs and Italian sausages. It has also been with the fair since the beginning.

Kendall County Beef Producers have steak sandwiches, burgers and more. Locally grown meat supports the 4-H youth program. See the results of the Beef Rate of Gain contest that started in February at the Livestock arena.

Kendall-Grundy Pork Producers have chops on a stick, pork burgers and more deliciousness served with ice cold lemonade. This group also buys a hog every year at the auction to help the 4-H young people. Enjoy these favorites at the antique tractor parade Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.

Kettle Korn is perfect for a healthy whole grain snack.

Carlson Concessions features fried veggies and fries; both are perfect for walking around and eating.

The F&F Concessions have apple dumplings and lots of other desserts, too.

Drendel Roasting serves pulled pork and breakfast items all made from scratch, with help from Fair board President, Mike Drendel.

Kendall Corn Growers serve “the best sweet corn around,” according to many fair board directors.

R’s Concessions have shaved ice creations to cool you off on a hot summer fair day.

Smilin’ Dawgs serves up a variety of hot dogs, the traditional walking around fair food. Enjoy your favorites while you visit the swine and cattle barn, sheep and goat tents, dairy, poultry and rabbit areas as well. Or you can enjoy your meal in the food tent area on the shaded grounds.
