Warrant Arrest
Yorkville police arrested David R. Chaves of the 500 block of Power Court for two outstanding warrants. The police report does not indicate what warrants were served on the 25-year-old man.
While police served the warrant on Chaves at his residence, police charged 49-year-old Bradley W. Phillips, of the 100 block of E. Rickard Drive, Oswego, with possession of cannabis. According to police Phillips contained 7.1 grams of the illegal substance.

DUI
Yorkville police charged an Aurora man with DUI after stopping him for speeding, according to police. Daniel H. Cabrera, 26, was observed allegedly speeding along Route 71. He was pulled and police subsequently charged him with DUI.

Failure to Appear
Kendall County deputies took 25-year-old Kytrina Elizabeth Garrett into custody for failing to appear before a LaSalle County judge for a DUI charge. According to police deputies responded to a child exchange in Plattville where they picked up Garrett, a resident of the 6300 block of Chicago Road in Yorkville.
