Police Find 550 Pills During Yorkville Traffic Stop
A 43-year-old Aurora man was charged with drug possession and driving under the influence of drugs.

A 43-year-old Aurora man was found with more than 550 pills of suspected Valium after officers with the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office pulled him over for traffic violations at 7:37 p.m. Saturday, March 19 in Yorkville.
According to police, deputies received a driving complaint by a passing motorist. After locating the vehicle, deputies saw the man commit lane and speed violations and pulled him over.
“A search of the vehicle located over 550 pills of suspected Valium, as well as a small amount of cannabis and drug paraphernalia,” police said.

Justin Ely Svoboda, of the 0-100 block of S. River Street in Aurora, was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs.
Svoboda was also charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of cannabis. Citations were issued for improper lane usage, as well as operating an uninsured vehicle. The arrest occurred at Rt. 71 and Rt. 47.
