Route 47 Still Closed For Traffic Crash With Injuries: Yorkville PD

YORKVILLE, IL — A section of Route 47 remains closed Monday afternoon after a crash that resulted in injuries, Yorkville police said.

Officers responded around 2 p.m. to the area near Route 47 and Route 126 for the crash. By about 3 p.m., area roadways reopened except for Route 47, which remained blocked off between Beaver Street and Route 126.

In their latest update, police said they could not provide an estimate of when Route 47 would reopen. Officials did not any details about the nature of the incident.
