Seven Car Windows Broken in Yorkville

YORKVILLE, IL -- At least seven vehicles had windows broken in Yorkville between the night of June 6 and the morning of June 7, according to police reports. There is no known information about the suspect.

The incidents occurred on Bristol Street, Colton Street, Jackson Street, the 400 block of Somonauk Street and the 1000 block of Homestead Drive. All of the victims' vehicles were within about a mile of each other when their windows were smashed.

A police report says that in one of the incidents, nothing was stolen. In the rest of the reports, no stolen items were mentioned.

Patch reported this morning on two vehicles with windows broken the same night, though it is unknown if those two overlap with the seven reported here.
