Wednesday, August 25 at 7:00 pm

If you are like one of the many homeowners with an ash tree on your property, there is a high probability that you have been impacted by the Emerald Ash Borer. The Ash Borer has become a major pest in recent years causing extensive damage and death to thousands of ash trees. This program will discuss all aspects of the borer, such as identification, occurrences, and damage. It will also focus on what decisions need to be made after trees are infested, including whether or not to treat the borer and what to do with dead wood. Speakers will include representatives from The Conservation Foundation, University of Illinois Extension, and Illinois Department of Agriculture.
