Support And Honor Veterans With Yorkville Flags Of Valor

YORKVILLE, IL — Community members are invited to join the Yorkville American Legion post 489 and the Veterans Outreach for Kendall County in honoring our nation and veterans who've served by being part of the 2018 Yorkville Flags of Valor. During the week of Veterans Day, Nov. 5 through 12, there will be American flags on display at Town Square Park, 301 North Bridge Street, and all are invited to pay tribute to veterans by visiting the park to view the flags.

Anyone interested in sponsoring a flag may do so for $30 a flag, which includes a keepsake ribbon and the option to personalize a tag in recognition and honor of a veteran.

You can make a donation in support of hundreds of veterans in Yorkville and Kendall County. All proceeds will be donated to the Yorkville American Legion Post 489 and Veterans Outreach for Kendall County.

Those who'd like to donate or sponsor a flag can register here or print and fill out this form and return to United City of Yorkville City Hall (800 Game Farm Rd, Yorkville) or Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department (201 W Hydraulic Ave, Yorkville) by Friday, Nov. 2.
