White Goods Amnesty Week: Get Rid Of Bulk Items In Yorkville
Discard unlimited white goods at no extra charge.
YORKVILLE, IL — Need to declutter? From April 16 to 20, Yorkville residents can get rid of white goods and bulk items at no extra charge by placing them by the curb on their regular waste pickup day. All items must be on the curb by 6 a.m. on your trash pickup day and can include appliances, sofas, carpets and other furniture.
These items can be picked up for no charge during the amnesty week:
- Air conditioners
- Clothes dryers
- Dishwashers
- Humidifiers/dehumidifiers
- Microwaves
- Refrigerators/freezers
- Stoves
- Trash compactors
- Washers
- Water softeners
- Bookcases
- Carpet rolls cut into 4-foot length sections weighing less than 50 pounds each
- Mattresses/box springs
- Pianos/organs
- Sofas
- Tables/chairs
These items do NOT quality and will not be accepted:
