Yorkville Man Dies After Crash with Semi
The 34-year-old man died from impact at the scene.
A 34-year-old Yorkville man has died after he ran through a stop sign and crashed with a semi in Dekab County.
Javier A. Rangel, of the 1200 block of Willow Way in Yorkville, was traveling westbound on Chicago at Route 23 at 6:26 a.m. May 6 when he ran through a stop sign, entered the intersection and crashed with a semi that was traveling southbound on 23.
Police say Rangel died from impact at the scene.

The driver of the semi, a 59-year-old Leland man was taken to Valley West Hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life threatening.
