Yorkville Officials Outline Waste Collection
The Yorkville website tells residents what can and cannot be picked up, as well as specifying bundling and bagging requirements.

YORKVILLE, IL -- Yorkville officials outlined trash and yard waste pick up requirements on their website. The webpage tells residents what can and cannot be placed outside for pick up and specifies how trash is to be bundled and bagged.
Yard waste pick up is scheduled from April 1 to Nov. 30 of every year. All waste is to be placed outside by 6 a.m. on the designated collection day.
Yard waste is defined as brush, flowers, garden waste, grass clippings, twigs and tree limbs. Tree limbs must be thinner than four inches in diameter and must be less than four feet long. Sod is not considered yard wast and should be disposed of as refuse, the website says.
