Yorkville's Red Paw Chili Supper Oct. 24

The 8th Annual Red Paw Chili Supper hosted by the Yorkville Music Boosters will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24 in the Yorkville High School cafeteria. The public, Yorkville students and their families are invited to attend this chili tasting event from 5 to 7 p.m.

The chili tasting portion of the event will be held from 5 to 6:45 pm. Visitors can sample over 20 varieties of chili including cornbread, refreshing beverages, chili bar fixings and amazing desserts. For the non-chili eaters, hotdogs are also available. Patrons will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite chili and the best chef.

In addition to sampling delectable chili, attendees will enjoy a variety of entertainment provided by Yorkville High School musicians. Mini concerts will be performed by the YHS Chamber Strings, Clarinet Choir, Drum Line and a grand finale performance by the YHS Marching Foxes at 7 p.m.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to win fabulous raffle prizes donated by music booster sponsors. Sponsorship opportunities are still available.

Pre-sale tickets will be sold until Oct. 22 and are $5 per person. Children under 5 are free. Purchase tickets in advance through any Yorkville Music Director, during any home YHS football game, or by contacting Melissa Castilla at: 630-688-5914. Tickets will also be available at the door on the day of the event for $8 each. All proceeds will go to the Yorkville Music Boosters organization to support music education programs and activities for Yorkville music students.
