Yorkville's Wrigley Factory Helps Make Mars a Great Place to Work

Wrigley Factory Director Brian Pardo said associates are excited and proud of their parent company.

Mars was recently named one of 2016's best manufacturing and production companies by Fortune Magazine for the second year in a row, coming in at No. 14.

Helping with that distinction is the Yorkville Wrigley Factory. The factory employs more than 300 people and has been making gum and mints in the area for more than 20 years, according to a press release from Mars. Workers at Wrigley, a subsidiary of Mars, often give back to the community, including the Kendall County Food Pantry and highway clean-up efforts, according to the release.

Wrigley Yorkville Factory Director Brian Pardo said every Mars facility, including the Wrigley Yorkville factory, believes that work should be a mutually rewarding experience.
