Andrew Luck Gets Cortisone Shot, No More Throws For Now

What the Colts are saying about injured quarterback Andrew Luck following recent cortisone shot: Report

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Well Colts fans, it looks like quarterback Andrew Luck will be off the field even longer according to a recent ESPN update via Colts general manager. ESPN reports Colts general manager Chris Ballard said trainers and doctors gave Luck a cortisone shot to help with inflammation in his right shoulder, and the quarterback will stop throwing for a bit due to soreness. According to ESPN, Ballard said Luck will continue to rehab his shoulder, which he had surgery to repair in January.

Colts fans can remember Luck's shoulder issue began with the initial injury two seasons ago, and more damage last season. Ballard and the team haven't announced a future practice date for Luck.

It looks like the Colts and their fans will have to continue supporting Jacoby Brissett, who has started every game but the season opener for the team.
