• Church family remembers 2 innocent civilians killed during police pursuit in Indianapolis (fox59.com) — A deadly police pursuit that involved Beech Grove officers ended with a head-on crash on Southeastern Avenue, killing Lori and Sonny Lawrence, two uninvolved Indianapolis motorists. Indiana State Police are now investigating whether Southport officers followed pursuit policy after IMPD called off the chase, while Beech Grove officers remain on duty as loved ones question why the pursuit continued.
