• Congress considers $2.1B to replace nearly 75-year-old Roudebush, add med center in Fishers (dailyjournal.net) — Brownsburg veterans could see better access to care as Congress weighs more than $2 billion for a new VA hospital in Indianapolis and an outpatient center in Fishers, complementing existing clinics in towns including Brownsburg. The proposal, backed by Indiana leaders from both parties, would replace the aging Roudebush VA Medical Center and expand outpatient services across central Indiana if approved in the 2027 budget.
