• Hoosier Uplands awards grant to Washington County Sheriff's Department for new sidearms (wbiw.com) — Campbellsburg residents should know that Hoosier Uplands recently included the Campbellsburg Town Marshal among agencies receiving part of more than $400,000 in grants, underscoring ongoing support for local law enforcement. A new $16,000 grant is also funding upgraded sidearms for the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, while the nonprofit continues offering housing, senior services, and financial counseling across the region.
