• Pedestrian struck, killed by passing semi on Interstate 70 in Putnam County (wthr.com) — Drivers around Cloverdale should know that a man was struck and killed Monday afternoon on westbound I-70 near the 40-mile marker, temporarily closing the highway. Investigators say he had exited a stopped box truck when a passing semi hit him, and the semi driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.
