• Connersville man turns himself in on firearms trafficking charge (dailyjournal.net) — A 48-year-old Connersville resident has been indicted on federal firearms trafficking and straw-purchase charges and recently turned himself in at the Johnson County jail. Prosecutors allege he twice bought Glock handguns using false information at a Shelbyville dealer and later provided a pistol to someone he allegedly knew could use it in a felony.
