Commissioners form Data Center Committee (14news.com) — Vanderburgh County leaders in Evansville have created a 13-member Data Center Research Committee and paused new data center projects through the end of 2026. The group will study environmental, agricultural, and electrical impacts before setting guidelines, with its first public meeting on September 2 at the Civic Center Complex.

Deputies say she fled a traffic stop, was later hospitalized, and allegedly admitted swallowing meth and discarding items during the 12‑mile chase.
