Staff say the brighter, more flexible spaces are already changing how students learn, and longtime HSE families are celebrating the school's "new chapter" while honoring more than a century of history on the site.

E. coli Advisory Issued for Geist Waterfront Park (larryinfishers.com) — The Fishers Health Department has issued a public health advisory after unsatisfactory E. coli levels were detected at Geist Waterfront Park, potentially affecting anyone planning to swim or wade there. Residents are urged to check current beach status with Fishers Parks, avoid swallowing water, and stay out if they have open cuts, as runoff after heavy rains often drives these recurring bacteria spikes in local waterways.

Fishers Freight Bring Back Dixie Wooten for 2027 — and Wooten Opens With a Message on the Floods (larryinfishers.com) — Fishers Freight are bringing back head coach and GM Dixie Wooten for the 2027 Indoor Football League season, aiming to turn last year's near-miss into a championship run at Fishers Event Center. She's asking Gov.
