Fishers Prepares For Oct. 11 IKEA Opening
DETAILS: IKEA Fishers shares events, giveaways and more happening at this week's grand opening event.

FISHERS, IN — The highly anticipated grand opening of IKEA Fishers is so close, people have already started lining up outside the new Fishers location, sitting right off the East side of Interstate 69. The Fishers location opens Wednesday, Oct. 11 at 9 a.m. There will be several exciting grand opening events and giveaways beginning 9 a.m. Wednesday morning and lasting through Sunday, Oct. 15.
Fishers IKEA grand opening fun includes special offers, face painting, balloon art, opportunities to enter to win several gifts and prizes including gift cards, and more, according to IKEA.
- The first 2,500 guests will receive a random prize envelope with IKEA Gift Cards ranging from $10 to $250, or a “Buy One, Get One Free” cinnamon bun, hotdog or soft-serve frozen yogurt voucher.
- The first 45 adults will receive a free EKTORP sofa, in honor of the company's 45th U.S. store.
- The first 100 adults to show a valid photo ID to IKEA Fishers Home Delivery counter, indicating their birthday is the same as the store’s, will receive a $45 gift card, as IKEA Fishers is the 45th U.S. IKEA store.
- The next 100 adults will receive a free POÄNG armchair.
- The first 100 children will receive a free FAMNIG HJÄRTA heart-shaped soft toy.
