• Riley pediatric orthopedic suite opens at IU Health Fishers (youarecurrent.com) — Families in Fishers now have walk-in pediatric orthopedic and sports medicine care at IU Health Fishers, with weekday hours from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for patients up to age 18. The new Riley Children's suite offers same-day evaluation for fractures and sports injuries, onsite imaging, lab and pharmacy, and expanded access to specialists close to home. 
• Atwell Suites hotel in Fishers moving forward (youarecurrent.com) — A long-delayed Atwell Suites hotel in Fishers' Saxony neighborhood is moving forward after the city's Planned Unit Development Committee approved updated architecture and site plans. The four-story, 124-room boutique hotel at 134th Street and Olio Road will feature coworking and lounge areas, a patio, limited food and drink, and public art murals reflecting local heritage.
• Indianapolis 5K creates community and funds for brain cancer research (youarecurrent.com) — A Fishers medical student, Brynn Baker, is helping rally support for the inaugural Head for the Cure 5K in Indianapolis, raising money for brain cancer research at IU School of Medicine and Riley Hospital. Local readers can join the October 3 run at Eagle Creek Park, support teams like survivor Lisa Farley's, and help fund clinical trials that aim to extend and improve patients' lives.
