• CampGRIZ registration nearly full; Franklin College gets additional funding for program (dailyjournal.net) — Families in Franklin still have one last chance to snag a spot in CampGRIZ’s Newsroom track at Franklin College, running June 8–12. The popular summer program for grades 5–10 just received nearly $245,000 in new Lilly Endowment funding, helping sustain its immersive, college-style learning experiences for local youth. 
• ‘It's gonna make me go bankrupt:' FCMS students experience simulated adulthood at event (dailyjournal.net) — Franklin Community Middle School eighth-graders just tackled a hands-on “Welcome to Reality” simulation that put them in the shoes of 29-year-old working adults. Students picked careers, managed salaries, paid for housing, transportation, and groceries, and even faced surprise life events, all to better understand budgeting, taxes, and how their education choices can shape their financial futures.
