• Car wash project gets under way along Indianapolis Road (bannergraphic.com) — A new Thoroughbred Express Car Wash is coming to Greencastle’s east side on Indianapolis Road, replacing former bank and medical office buildings and bringing 10–12 jobs. City officials approved the site plan with conditions on stormwater and landscaping, and neighbors’ noise concerns helped limit overnight operations and shape how trees and sidewalks will be added along this busy corridor.
   

• Harrison wins playoff to clinch spot out of sectional (thebraziltimes.com) — Greencastle’s girls’ golf team shot 479 at the Forest Park sectional, led by Jacey Call’s 94, but did not advance as a team. Clay City’s Ashley Harrison stole the spotlight by winning a sudden-death playoff to claim the final individual regional berth, capping a tightly contested day for several Wabash Valley programs.
