• Police say Fortville man broke into woman's residence, took cell phone and truck (greenfieldreporter.com) — Greenfield police responded to a June 9 vehicle theft report on North State Street after a woman said her ex-boyfriend entered her home without permission and left with her phone, keys, and truck. A Fortville man now faces multiple felony and misdemeanor charges, with a speedy trial scheduled for August 25 and a no-contact order in place. 
• Greenfield PD Recover Nearly $3M Worth of Cargo, Arrest Man (wibc.com) — Greenfield police recently stopped a semi near the Greenfield exit and recovered nearly $3 million in stolen industrial cargo tied to a Pennsylvania theft case. A California driver was arrested, the truck was impounded by a Greenfield towing company, and a company representative came to town to reclaim the material.
