Thieves are smashing windows overnight, targeting guns and cash, and investigators are asking anyone with surveillance video from early Sunday to share it with Greenwood, Bargersville, or Johnson County police.
   

• Greenwood man sentenced to over 30 years in prison for 2023 rape (wthr.com) — A Greenwood resident has been sentenced to more than 30 years in prison after a Johnson County jury convicted him of multiple felonies tied to a 2023 case reported to Greenwood police. Prosecutors cited his prior record and ongoing risk in successfully arguing for the maximum sentence and lifetime sex offender registration.
