• Indiana State Police issue Silver Alert for missing Greenwood man (fox59.com) — Indiana State Police have issued a Silver Alert for 23-year-old Jaeden Long of Greenwood, last seen on foot early Sunday morning and believed to be in extreme danger. Residents are urged to call Greenwood Police or 911 with any information that could help locate him. 
• Louise Margaret (Montgomery) Embry, 91, Hope (hsjonline.org) — Hope resident Louise Margaret Embry, 91, passed away August 5 at Franciscan Hospice House in Greenwood after a life devoted to family, church, and hard work. Services will be held in Hope on August 11, with memorial donations invited to the Greenwood hospice or Hope Moravian Church meal ministry.
