INDIANAPOLIS, IN — There are plenty of furry friends featured this week at the Humane Society of Indianapolis, including two Pets of the Week, and a number of dogs recently brought in from Houston as part of Hurricane Harvey recovery efforts. IndyHumane's Pets of the Week are a dog named Buddy and a cat named Howard.

IndyHumane describes Buddy as a Chow Chow/mix, nine-year-old male dog who loves attention, and is sweet, smart and cuddly. The shelter also says Buddy enjoys exploring with his nose, and will therefore enjoy taking walks. Buddy can be yours for an adoption fee of $160.

Howard is a one-year-old male cat who IndyHumane describes as fun, frisky, energetic and curious. Howard also loves to play and explore, but also enjoys relaxing and sleeping one he's worn out. You can take Howard home for an adoption fee of $40.
