We want to celebrate you and your creative work.
As part of the Martindale-Brightwood Quality of Life Plan, we're conducting an Artist Census to identify and connect with the artists, makers, and creatives who have ties to our neighborhood. By participating, you'll help us better understand our creative community and may be considered for future exhibitions, events, public art projects, workshops, and other opportunities.
Our arts and culture goals are to identify and elevate Martindale-Brightwood artists, expand arts education, preserve neighborhood culture, and create more opportunities for creativity to thrive through collaboration with neighbors, organizations, churches, and community partners.
We want to hear from anyone with a connection to Martindale-Brightwood—not just current residents. If you grew up here, have family here, work here, attend church here, or have another meaningful connection, we'd love to include you.
You don't have to be a professional artist to participate. Creativity comes in many forms, from painting and photography to cooking, gardening, crocheting, woodworking, writing, and more. If you create, we'd love to hear from you.
